There is a white plastic connector in my doors that I noticed when I was putting in new speakers. I would say it is about 8 inches above the connector for the speakers. I would guess it is for power locks, but could also be for power mirrors or windows possibly, all of which are options I do not have.

If it is for power locks, could it possibly be as easy as buying a switch and wiring into the connector to add power locks to my current setup...

So anyway, does anyone know what that connector is for?

That would be connector G1 (power window master switch) or G4 (power window regulator motor). G5 is for the power door lock, and it is located by the door latch (for the actuator).

The main body ECU (which is located inside of the under dash fuse panel) controls the door locks, so you just have to add the actuators and switches to have power locks.

Thanks CTScott. I don't plan on doing anything with it. I knew it was for some option that I don't have since it's not hooked up, so I was just wondering. I appreciate your insight.
