I wonder what this midget auto can be? Is it just a product of TV commercial or this is something real? So, cute:bellyroll:

It's real, it's German, and it's comming to the states (this year I think.)

It's a Smart For 2 (http://www.smartusa.com/) and it's made by Mercedes Benz.

yea.. they have those everywhere! my boss has one and he let me drive it. imo, it sucks ass! handling is horrible and stiff and the gas pedal, i was stepping on it at least 3 inches down b4 that little car even moved!

Not to mention it's made by Mercedes Benz, which probably means it will break down every 10,000 miles and cost a fortune to fix. They are NOT the car company they once were. Mercedes has been living off their laurels for some time now.

Edited to say: I mean Mercedes Benz has been living off their PAST laurels! What a dope.

Actually the two companies merged and Mercedes is the parent company which in turn owns Chrysler hence Diamler Chrysler. That's why Chrysler is using old Mercedes platforms for their "new" cars.

Actually Daimler-benz bought controling intrest in Chrysler then the 2 companies merged creating Daimler-Chrysler. This happened back in 98 or 99, I think

cars are just getting shorter and shorter aren't they? i thought the yaris was short...

look it up on youtube they have a crash test comparison for these cars... they drive it at like 80mph straight to a wall... the frame survived, but i dont think the passengers will.

I actually saw two of those little cars in different parking lots in Ottawa in September. Cute, but you could only bring groceries home in them if you don't have a passenger.

I was lacking on sleep when I posted my aygo comment, I somehow missed the whole previous thread. Duh, that smart car is cool looking but man so small!!

I'm on almost a week of driving my new Yaris L/B stick shift and I'm wondering if others have found the power steering hyper reactive ? I found on the highway I had to work to keep it straight when I hit a pocket or something... seems really powerful but tiring to fight  ... I still love it but drive alot to and from commuting.... Also... did anyone put in the arm rest after, it seems easy and helpful to have...

Thanks. :)
