*Problem* Need some help .... kinda quick ....

So, I am finally putting the lowering springs on my car (Ok, my friend Chris is lol) .... I have the Drop Zone springs and I have 17" wheels w/ 205/40/17 tires. We got the rear springs on, and it is WAY too low .... it is rubbing and he doesn't have his fender roller so there is no fixing it.

Has anyone else had this problem? I am trying to figure it out ASAP so I am looking around but I didn't see any other thread with this issue coming up.

Will it even out a bit once I get the front springs on? Or is it just going to be something I have to deal with?

Ok - I looked around a bit more, and found something about spring stabilizers ...anyone know where can I buy those at?

What is the advertised drop on the Drop Zone springs?

I assume from the tire size that your 17's are 17"x7". What's the offset?

From what I've seen the Drop Zone springs are any where from 2.0" to 2.5" drop (One site had 1.4" to 2.5"). With a 2"+ drop, from what I've read, without a lot more work you are stuck with rubbing issues.

It sounds like you haven't done the fronts yet. From what I understand, the front wheels have less clearance than the rears, so If the rears are rubbing, the fronts are going to be even worse. If you want to keep the 17x7's, camber bolts, rear hub camber spacers, rolling the fenders and/or pulling the fenders are probably going to be your only option. Even with that, depending on your offset, you may still have rubbing issues.

Hey guys - sorry for the late post, we decided to take them off .... it is just way too aggressive of a drop for me. The DZ springs say it's a 1.5" drop, but there is no way that was only 1.5" because it was tucking hard.

I am going to get some different springs and reinstall them when I move back to TN at the end of the year. I don't want to deal with it right now being in Minnesota - it may start snowing before I move back lol

And yeah ... he never put the front ones on .... I'm sure it would have been a whole lot worse lol

You should keep them and get different size tires. Those look to be big tires. What are they, 215/45/17? If so, try stepping down to 205/40/17. I didn't have problems prior to installing my hub spacers.
