Hi all

I was hoping if someone could tell me what grade of transmission oil i should use as replacement or topping up.

I bought
MPM Gearbox Oil premium synthetic S4.
API: GL-4
75W-90

Is it proper...?

I bought this Yaris here in Ireland. It was first registered in 2000. It has 1SZFE Engine with manual transmission. It has 38000Miles on the odometer.

I don't know if gear box oil was ever changed or topped up. But i am experiencing a bit of noise when changing it and it gets stuck sometime changing from 1 to 2. So i thought i will change the gear oil fully.

Can someone shed some light on it and can someone guide me how to change the fluid.

Thanks in advance.

Its the correct oil according to the manual. It will take gl-4 or gl-5 75-90W

Go to a toyota dealer, they have what you need there.
