Official Monthly Meet Information

Toronto Region
West-end GTA meetings:

Every second Wednesday of the month at approx. 8:30PM
Krispy Kreme Mississauga. 5920 Mavis Rd.
(Mavis & Brittania)
Directions: take Hwy 401 and exit at Mavis Rd. (exit#340). Head south on Mavis toward Brittania.

Dec 8

I'm out for this one. 21st Anniversary :wub: trumps meet.

Is there ever an East end meet???

Last Saturday of every month @ Kennedy Commons Tim Hortons. Yaris is usually very scarce at those. I've been to two out there.

Well I think more people need to get out to the East end meet...i am a fairly new Yaris Owner...Gotta meet more Yaris Peeps...

Im kind of in the same boat.

I've been to these 'gatherings' in the past (uninvited) to peruse some street rods and classics, take photos, etc. but have never really been to a Toyota-only type meets... What to expect?

Feeling kinda strange to just show up not knowing anybody...

i'll be there

we usually have 4 or 5 yaris people....usually lots of other toyotas including matrix, corolla, mr2, camry

got to come out to see what its about....we usually just stand around and talk about cars...have a coffee or two

its fun.

i am going regardless since im selling some HID's to a couple people, so i need to drop them off.

im hoping to arrive for 830 or so stay till maybe 11...i typically try to make the westend meet so that if any other yaris people want to come out, im always there.

You guys east of the 400 have gotta start working it!!

The West End pretty much started out last year with thebarber and myself in attendance. Now is typically running 5 to 6 Yaris/Echo reps each month.

Promote it and get out there. Nothing will happen unless someone takes the bull by the horns...

That was in April I believe. Didn't realize that was cowboy. Thought he was a 'spectator' just checking out some Yarii. Never actually saw his ride, although I think I recall seeing a silver Yaris parked a far piece away from where we were.

Yes it is still the last Saturday of the month.

We've come east before (thebarber, uncleyaris, Adriaan, myself), all westend and beyond. You've never come west. As they say; 'Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'.

i drive ~45min to drive to the westend on a weeknight, you're in scarborough, right? might be 30min to the westend location?

im typically busy w/ my wife and daughter on the weekends and the eastend meets havent typically had enough of a steady yaris showing to warrant the hour and 20min drive to the other side of the GTA.

thats why i try to consistently make the eastend meets. if noobies know that at least a few people will be there, they're more apt to coming out.

i don't want to get on your case, but i WENT to an eastend meet where you said you'd be there and you didn't show. i think that MAY have been the one where wee, uncle, adriaan and myself showed up...

non taken.. as far as i know i only missed one meet there where i couldnt make it due to unforseen schedule.. but i was there when it was even raining..sorry bro. lolz.

Hey cowboy, I was behind you on the 401->427 and you were driving without your running lights on.

Not sure if you had your hand brake up (hand brake up = no running lights on my Echo) or what...

Hey guys thanks for representing and hope you continue the trek to Scarb. Once I get to my first meet I'm hoping to see there a yari or two :laugh:

Last Sat of this month looks good but no promises until I can commit. Thank goodness the meet is not on the Jul 1st weekend.

(p.s. I live in Ajax, ON)
