no i dont need one. my phone does everything that does, plus provide wifi...well it will when i get it next week. i'm going with the new HTC evo4g from sprint. so....no, apple can go burry itself in raw sewage for all i care.
proprietary software you can't get rid of...stringent process for applications and programs...expensive music you can't do anything with...too much. i'd rather a $20 mp3 player from walmart than any ipod.
did you hear about the ipad security leak? supposedly someone took a tone of info from at&t's website itself. not cool. Got a ton of emails of people who do not have publicly known emails. I'll try and find the article.

Well, I don't need one anyway.
I want one! I want one! I want one! I need to be hooked up! I need to be hooked up! I need to be hooked up!
If I don't have one, then I will be functionally illiterate in my knowledge and information base... :frown:
Ooops, I forgot... Knowledge is the systematic elimination of information...
Cheers!

-over-sized ipod?
-no usb?
-no removable battery? (still, lol)
-designed like an always open laptop?
-no wifi? (yet....)
-no bluetooth? (yet....)
-never been a fan of apple but come on it seems like pushing "the next big thing in computing" out before you can get the bells and whistles installed seems like a money making scheme to me. especially when you say that this bare bones model is available now with step-up models coming later....
