hello, im new here but i wonder what is that part called the plastic that covers the speedometer,where to find besides the dealer and if is easy to install,dealer wants $100 in labor to snap that in plus $30 for the part.

It's called "combination meter glass". Changing is easy, just remove the speedometer cover and then you will see what to to. I don't know why your dealer wants 100$ for his work.

thank you bud, i found it on toyota parts barn for $21.00 with installation instructions part number 8385252R60 yaris 08 4door if anyone else need it, since dealer dont give part numbers they can go kiss my... now lol

WTF $130? you can do this ur self even with out instructions pops out real easy and snaps back on easy

I know man thats for wifes car and she was going crazy thinking is hard to install and have to stop her before going to dealership,i was like hoooold on hold on!!! we can do this way cheaper, anyway the people at toyota parts barn very helpful on online chat they found me the part number and fax her detailed installation instructions with colorful pictures for her peace of mind,
you know how womens are!!!

Hi there! I also need a new speedometer glass for my 2007 Yaris 4 door sedan. I cracked it and it looks easy to replace. I just don't know where I can find the part. Just the clear plastic cover for the speedometer. Can anyone help? I went to toyota parts barn but I am not sure what this part is called in their catalog? I tried typing combination meter glass but nothing comes up.
