15x9 +17mm is about a 1 1/2" poke. so you are looking at least at a 2" wheel poke.

is that what you're after?

Yes it will work easy i fit 15x8 0 0ffset XXR 513's before i went to the more gangster Diamond racing setup now running 15x10 negative 30offset in front and negative 25 offset rear with some rolled and pulled fenders and stretched tires and 4 deg negative camber front and rear slight rub on hard turns in the front but rear no problems check my pics with the XXR and now Diamond racing.

First off, I loved the look of the XXRs on your Yaris. I've also wanted to see what some widened steelies would look like, too.

However, I guess nowadays people have to decide what they mean by "fit."

Will they bolt up?
Will they rub?
Will you have to trim fenders? Roll fenders?

Especially with the Herraflush ... er Hellaflush trend, "fit" is a much broader term than it used to be.

it's form before function. if it looks dope, who cares what it does to your fenders, wheel bearings, bumpers, etc, right?

then again, i'm the pot calling the kettle black.. at least my poke serves a real world purpose....

True it's all up to what u are going for if you are tracking you car things of that nature this setup is hella unfunctional....I just posted my car with those diamond racing to just prove that the yaris can handle a crazy wheel offset if wanna go that route....I actually don't really have that setup on my car I still have the XXRs those actually came of my buddy Kyles miata from speedhunters...If I really wanted to run those I would probably put flares on like Garm on his car because it would just plain look ridiculous the way it is but I'm more type of guy that goes for form than function that's just me yeah of course it leads to wearing of tires fendeR rolling and killin wheel bearings but it's okay to me that what I have to deal with besides I'm a Lexus technician so I get discounts on toyota parts and have access to my shop and tools to fiX problems as they arise but it's all in good fun to me and it's fun to see how crazy are cars can really get oN fitament me and my friend were actually suprised that the yaris had that much clearance under there lock to lock and no I'm not into that hellaflush stuff Tamago just trying to show people how far a yaris can go as to fitament is all and just to let everyone know it's does come with a price like Tamago listed premature wear etc...but hey it's all about what your into..And this is nothing compared to the K-car scene and Vitz scene in Japan they run some ridiculous offset wheels lol....

But me and my buddy Kyle was Suprised that his wheel setup actually worked on the Yaris....Kyle is the type of guy all into crazy fitaments and we both were just curious that day if my car could even run them...Well here are the pics of My buddy Kyles car where i got the rims from.

simply sick...how does one go about acheiving -4 camber? Are you running two set's of camber bolts per shock in the front?

jaytee, what is the tire size for your setup?

Looks like the right tire size for the wheels but the wrong size to make those wheels fit on the car.

JayTee09
06-19-2010, 09:03 PM
225/50/15 and they the ideal fit for the wheels as far as an oem look is concerned but I wanted it to look a tad more . . . Radical lol, ie shorter tires and stretched rubber so on so forth but I'm stuck with them for now

lilredrocket
06-20-2010, 12:30 AM
Haha... Should have went 225/45 to avoid the rub on the rear. Do a DIY on rolling your fenders.

To answer your question JayTee the camber kit is not that expensive or really hard to put in I Just used 2 front Eccentric style bolts from Spc on both front shocks, actually got the kits from Garms shop Micro Image online and made my own Shims for the rear all it is a thicker washer like Penguin makes with the top grinded off them with camber u should be able to minimize or even take care of the rubbing issue those shims basically just go behind the rear hubs...really easy install, oh I'm just running Tein basic coilovers with one locking ring removed from the rear cause it's maxed out anyway with just Trd rear sway that's all....I probably would have gone with a 195/50/r15 to give it a stretch for some clearance as well.Instead of he 205's that u runnin would help give it some clearance as well or if you want more maybe 185/45/r15.

185/55 would of worked out well.

Take it back and complain, the tech recommended it and now you cant have passengers in the back seat.

And btw, that MR-S has some ugly wheel/tire setup.......i hope you are some badass on the track cause that shit looks ugly....lol
