I am having a problem with my gears not shifting to the lower gears 2nd / 4th / 6th. When I try to shift to these gears the gear knob go to free automatically. I tried to lock gears directly from the transmission and it seems that the trans is ok. So it must be a cable..... could it be a slight adjustment from somewhere?
Problem happened during a high rev shift from 3rd to 4th.
Transmission is C160 6spd - Engine 1NZFE - Car Yaris 2001 model
The picture shows another pair I have in my garage. The cables that are giving problems are still connected into the car.
