So there's already a thread discussing about this

HVAC ODOR: NEW technical service bulletin from toyota

T-SB-0103-09
HVAC ODOR 2007-2008 YARIS

So I called the dealership and gave the TSB code, but the service advisor told me that the code seems to be for American dealerships. Is there a Canadian equalevant TSB code for this? My warrenty is only a few months left and I'd like to bring it in and get it done before it expires, if possible.
Thanks.

I don't know if there is a Canadian variation or not but dude you better get it in before your warranty runs out, mine did and Toyota is being a bunch of total dicks about it. They ABSOLUTELY will not offer me any assistance with the repair and I mean the dealership and Toyota national service. This pretty much has pushed me towards buying a Nissan or Mazda the next time, just to see if the customer service is better. I know it sounds stupid but I am really pissed about this especially since they KNOW its a problem. Anyway DON'T WAIT !

TSBs for Canada have a different numbering system. Your dealer should be able to look up what TSBs apply to your car by the VIN.

that's what the service advisor did when i called in. he looked into the system and tried to find the matching canadian TSB but he said he couldn't find one regarding the same issue. maybe he's just trying to BS cuz my warrenty is getting close to expired, but iono...

If you're willing to spend $15, you can do a 2 day subscription to techinfo.toyota.com. On there, if you subscribe from Canada, you get access to the Canadian TSBs.
