Potential Yaris buyer and new to the forum. Really like the 16's on this car, better proportion and look than the 15's without looking out of balance (really got tired of the 22's and 24's on my SRT8 forum and the folks putting 18's on Smarts - again, too much in my opinion). Are 16's common or is there a concern with less performance? Any rubbing issues with what is above? Thanks for your help with a rookie!

i had no problems with mine...
i prefer the performance aspect of the 15's i have at the moment (9.7lbs/wheel), but 16's aer the nicest balance of performance and looks if you get something light...

Are you primarily looking for liftbacks or sedans?
Here's my sedan with 16's. Tires are 205/50 General Altimax HP's. An excellent tire at a great price. Offset is 40. Stock suspension.

^ Lowered any? This thread does it for me, im going wth 16s in 195/50. OEM tire diameter and thin enough sidewall height for my tastes. Was either that size or 215/40/17

Thanks guys, I thought they looked really good on there. I was originally planning to go with ASA AR1s but TireRack was sold out and it was going to be a few months before they had any more in.
I'm definitely considering dropping the car about an inch, I'm just not sure what route I should take on that. I don't want to make the ride real rough.

I didn't notice any difference steering at lows speeds. The overall performance at high speeds and corning is certainly improved though. They don't at all feel heavier. Actually, 16's are often the same weight as stock 15" steelies with fatter tires.

I believe you can get eyelids through Micro Image (when the site is back up). You will either have to paint them yourself, or have them professionally painted (if you have a single-stage paint, just paint it yourself). They attach with some double-sided tape on the underside.

Painting myself I have no idea how to do, how do I get someone to paint them for me if my color code is a dealership one o,o I wouldnt mind black either
and how much does microimage charge for em o,o I have the hood deflector on aswell so I am trying to get some that just cover the headlights and dont go on the body
