Remote Wire

Where did you guys run your remote wire from? I was thinking of tapping into the 12V in the center console but I am not sure if it always has power running to it or only when the car is turned on.

your deck will have one (if it is a aftermarket deck) and it should be clearly labeled. There is a wire on the oem deck too.... but I can't remember which it is... (gray maybe)... Do a search, there's info in past threads about the oem wire colors.

the remote wire on aftermarket head-units are usually blue and marked R/W or Remote
