Electric problem! heeeelp!

greetings everyone! Im having problems with my sedan, electric ones to be specific, sometimes suddenly my radio, velocity and gas panel goes off for like two seconds and then comes on again but when it does my steering wheel gets stuck and doesnt move anywhere unless i restart the car. Its avery dangerous problem bcuz it has done that while in movement. Also i have some subwoofers that when i first installed them they damaged my HID ballasts, and since I installed the new lights i havent used the subs and the lights have worked perfectly. My mainteinance light is on too. Somebody please help :help:

Yikes! It sounds like your ignition is actually cutting out. When you say restart it, are you switching the key off and then back to start? If so, have you skipped going back to off and just cranked it to verify that the engine is actually not running?

i meant restarting as in turning the car off and then on normally

The engine is already off when you turn the key off though, right?

nono the car is on running normal, but i cant move the steering wheel, so i have to turn the car off and then back on and then the steering wheel functions normally.
