I would say the Toyota product would be your best bet...they designed the vehicle etc. When I read my yaris manuel,it advised that...one could experience shifting differences/difficulties...this is not the exact wording!.If I had to pick a second,it would definetly be Amsoil. The reason I said Toyota initially is because you never know when a manufacturer is going to use some funky material in their designs...and just so happens, possibly, they put additives in their tranny fluid to keep that mechanism 'just right'.Be it motor oil or tranny fluid, change it regularly.Tranny's are,no doubt more complex than the engine they are attached too(generally speaking).

I think I heard the T auto tranny fluid is proprietary. No one makes the spec except T.

Toyota OEM.
why ? because the hardware and software running the transmission were designed
and built to use it.

Without knowing how a different brand would affect paper and adhesive combo I would stay with OEM fluid. Using a different fluid could give more or less slip on the clutch packs. To much slip would wear out the paper faster and a lack of slip would shock load stuff that’s not made for it.
