And not in the way he would have liked

A Farmers Insurance agent wasn't paying attention in bumper-to-bumper stop-and-go traffic on highway 394 here in the Twin Cities, and slammed into a lady; who then slammed into Roy (my ex); who then slammed into a 2010 Camry; who then slammed into the car in front of him. It was a pretty bad chain reaction but no one was hurt thankfully - but I figured I would share the pictures of how the ION literally soaked up every bit of impact from the crash.

....and I did have to chuckle to myself because that's what he gets for being such a jerk lately :P lol

Oh, since they were at a dead stop when the accident happened (well, all but the Farmers agent lol) there is no way the lady behind him could have hit him THAT hard - but it sure looks like it. I know Saturns are made to take all the impact of a crash but jumpin' Joseph that's a lot of damage for a rear-ender, isn't it? Or maybe I've just been lucky in the Yaris because the two times I've been rear-ended (people in Minnesota CAN NOT drive) it's only cracked my bumper.

the Stonecutters did it!...

hmmm it actually doesnt look THAT bad the tape makes all the difference ;o)

as long as your "jerk" is ok that's what counts

You're right, it must have been the Stonecutters!

Do those emblems on the back get him out of tickets or something?

I'm sorry, I have to interject here. :frown: I take great offense to your usage of "Stonecutters". I am the granddaughter and greatgranddaughter of respected Masons. As well as the fiance of one as well.

No the emblems do not get a person out of tickets. They are a symbol of honor.

All I ask is that you be a little more respectful to our history.

That is all.

Some zip-ties (to stitch up the crack) and a little more duct tape, and it'll be as good as new. hehehe. j/k. Glad no one was hurt.

As a Star and having many family/ex-husband/friends who are Masons; if you think it doesn't help get a person out of a ticket from time to time - you are mistaken  lol

Anywhoo - no bad talk about the Masons, anyone. They're the best  I am a bit partial though. haha They didn't cause the accident. They were, however, the first ones to call and make sure all was well.

Yes, the "jerk" is fine. I was a bit worried about him because his head was hurting and he said he was dizzy - but of course refused to go to the hospital. But I kept checking on him to make sure he was OK and he made it. He's fine.

I still find it HILARIOUS that the insurance agent is the one who caused the damn accident ... :bellyroll::bellyroll::bellyroll:
