Hey guys - I'm new to the forum and Yaris ownership in general and I need some advice. I just bought a 2010 Yaris Sedan and I am looking for some good, heavy all weather mats. I asked Toyota about OEM and they said they are not making them for this model :frown: I had a great set of OEM mats for my PT Cruiser and now I see them as a must have. Has anybody on here used the WeatherTech mats? How do they fit? Can you lay them over the carpeted mats? Any help would be great, thanks!!!

When I had my SVT Focus I had a set of Catch All mats by Nifty Products. Has anybody on here had any for the Yaris?

Order them from Canadian Toyota dealers; they will ship to the USA. Canada has the All Weather Rubber mats, and are enuine Toyoto accessory. Comes with a Yaris and Toyota logo embossed into the mat as well.
Very nice, custom fit, attach to the built in hooks on the floor. Mats are durable, rugged, and washable. Rubber mats can be sprayed with garden hose to clean, and it stays soft and bendable over time. The depth of the trays are just less than 1cm, so the mats do a great job of trappping alot of dirt, grit, water, and snow. I have a set of my own.

I also have the floor liners pictured above. I will never buy any other kind of floor mat. The best mats ever, a little pricy, but worth it

Toyota Canada DEF has a surplus of OEM all-weather-mats for the Yaris! I just bought a 2010 Yaris HB - and had the OEM all-weather mats thrown in for free. I was also cautioned by the salesrep not to double stack the standard carpet mats on the driver's side - but that I could double stack the OEM all-weather mats & standard carpet mats for the other 3 locations - rubber on top of carpet - if needed. (Good tip!)
Personally - I have always just used the OEM all-weather mats by themselves - I keep the standard carpet mats in a bag unused.

I'm deciding between these weathertech front mats only (as I'll never have a rear rider) for $69.95 + free shipping (they're $54.95 + shipping from weathertech);
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Weathertech/Floor_Mats/W24W116.html?loc=Front&tlc=Interior+Accessories
http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvproduct.aspx?ItemGroupId=3&VehId=1230&Year=2010
or the OEM set of 4 from the Toyota dealer in Windsor, Ontario, a short drive for me. for $90 Canadian + tax.
The weather tech floor mat in the above post is not as nice as the floor liner in rihdrkc's picture. I like the way his drivers mat has the lip up the center concole area & the covering for the left hump. I just found it on their website & they want $99.95 + $18 shipping for the front only.

Meteroite Marty's OEM does not seem to have either of those enhancements.

I use Guelph Toyota, and Forbes Toyota. Guelph is better.

Personally, I don't like the WeatherTech ones, even though they look to be a custom fit. The grooves aren't deep enough for slush and snow or heavy rain. The groves on the Toyota ones are quite deep.
When I get into a BMW, Range Rover, or Mercedes, and I see the car maker's all weather rubber mats specific for that vehicle, I feel like its the real deal. The same goes for my Yaris.

I just received my Weather Tech all weather mats and I must say I'm impressed. I ordered them from Autoanything.com. I got the 1st row and 2nd row. They were a little pricey at $115 with free shipping but they are a custom fit and the driver mat even has the eye holes for the pegs to keep them in place. They are flexible without being flimsy, very thick, they do not smell funky, and I think the grooves will be more than adequate. They offer much better protection and coverage than the factory mats. Plus a 10 year warranty doesn't hurt. I also like how you can't really see the Weather Tech branding. I went with the mats, not the liner. I'll post some pictures when I get time.

Hello,
I am sold. I want to purchase these, but my only concern after reading the installation instructions off the WeatherTech website has to do with the retention hooks. I'm not a car buff or any Mr. D-I-Y'er, so I'm in the dumb category when it comes to this - do I have to have such hooks in order to install the Floor Liner Digital Fit mats (http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvproduct.aspx?ItemGroupId=52&VehId=1230&Year=2009&VehOptChoiceIds=9) for my car. I don't even know what to look for in my car floor area to make sure.

the hooks are just plastic hooks that you can pick up at the dealer. after the floor mats getting stuck under the gas pedal my dealer gives them away for free, but they are only a dollar or two i think

I hope to see your weathertech mat pics soon. I'm still unsure if I want the mats or liners. The mats are $50 less  , but am not sure if they have the lip up edging like the liners or if they cover all the way up under the gas pedal. They also look like the drivers side have an opening between the left raised area & the center. Wouldn't fluid get in there?

Those "hooks" are free at any Canada Toyota dealership - and usually I have heard of them putting them in for you in ANY age / model Toyota car you bring in.
I never had them in my 09 Rav 4 - and when I bought my 10 Yaris - the sales rep put them in the Rav4 - and they really do keep the driver's side all weather mat from sliding!

By popular demand...I've had these mats for about a week and they're great. As you can see there is a split at the top of the driver's mat which I wasn't too sure about at first; it covers the left footrest which the carpeted mats do not. You can't really see the WeatherTech logo unless you look for it. The mats are thick rubber and super easy to clean. Me likey, but I know some people prefer 100% coverage. Personally I would take my muddy shoes off and leave them by the side of the road before I drug them in my car, but that's just me. :w00t: I'm having a heck of a time uploading photos, here's the URL to my photobucket account:

Got my Weathertech digitals today and I am quite satisfied. Went by the dealer yesterday and saw where they just started carrying them. Asked if they had for the Yaris and was laughed out of the parts dept. Comments went like those that buy the Yaris don't really want to spend the $160.oo for floormats. Said I wouldn't either and then was told they didn't stock for the Yaris anyway. Figures

I have the WeatherTech liners for the front of my car. They're excellent! Well designed and they do a great job keeping the floor clean. Well worth the investment when you live in cold climates with snow, mud and sand.

Don't get toyotas all seasons, they are junk for the Yaris.
You could get some rubber ones at a Canadian Tire or walmart and they work just fine, though if you insist on something else the weather techs are nice, they are quality of cargo liner its pretty sweet.

Nope, Live and learn. Things been mounting up.....couple of weeks ago they had military appreciation day and offered the new Scion TC with a paint color I really liked normally at just a little over 20 grand for 15.4 with discounts and incentives. Ton of retirees live here but it didn't apply, just to active duty. Now that pissed me off. But I digress, back to the weathertech channel.

I got my Weathertech digital liners front only. 1) There was an ad in AAA Michigan mag from Weathertech offering a discount. I called & they gave me 5% off. 2) I lifted the black rocker panel cover & tucked the liners edge under it, then popped them back into place. Slick.

weather tech has great fit and awesome looks, great designs and function. but the thing i have a problem is, they last just as long as the cheapo walmart brands. they wear a hole in the gas/clutch just like any other mats. and they wear just as fast.
so, for about 1/4 the price i'll stick with the cheapo's and keep replacing them.
but like i said, the fit is awesome, they look great, i just dont like that they wear.

These look so good and completely protect the carpet. no snow here, so just have to deal with rain. Impressed and extremely pleased with these mats, wow, hope they give me a few decades of service!
