Its been silent for a while now. Any chance of having another one soon.
Weekends or Weekdays better?
Day or Night better?
I would prefer something around 7PM or so. Not so hot, but still enough light to take pics.
Lets see if we can start getting some POSSIBLE dates together.
My schedule is always changing but I will do my best on this one.

Shouldn't be a problem for me, I haven't been on here much lately due to other "distractions" but I think Sunday the 25th should be fine.

Any idea of where we want to hold this? Seems like we've met on the NW side of town these past few times, any suggestions as to where else we could try?

I know the area, but dont know this actual place. So for me, parking is unkown. That night will actually be my adult beverage night(no work on Monday). Too bad they dont serve anything like that.

yeah the place has a huge parking lot in front and sunday afternoon/evening is usually pretty empty. IIRC they let you bring in your own wine but im not sure about other alcoholic drinks.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I was finishing up summer classes I had, as well as starting my new job!! :D Yes, Yes, I have a job now haha. & Wouldn't you know, we're closed on Sundays! lol So the 25th sounds delightful to me. Set Time? I'm sure hubby bubby would be down for coming along with me again, especially if it's greek food. lol:tongue:

I'll be on here every day if possible to check the status of everything. If I get behind, I'm sure mister Z will text me again and let me know :laugh: :bellyroll:

I am now thinking that it would be best to wait for everyone to chime in and let us know what day in August would work out for them. As for tommorow it looks less likely that we will have a showing at all.
I would go for sure if we could get some cool pics of alll of our cars and hang out.
My vote at this time is to wait until August and see when we can get everyone together.

Love the pics above!! :clap: Been out of the loop again (we are gearing up to open the newest Freebirds on 08.26 at San Pedro & 410 (near the BestBuy & GameStop), and I've been swamped. I will do my best to make it out to Zorba's on the 22nd.

The only thing that would keep me from going is the fact that we are doing our first "Mock Service" that day from 2-3 (basically burritos for the first 250 or so people in line for - don't quote me yet...- a $1.00 donation to a nonprofit we are working with). :iono:

I know it ends at 3, but I'm the AGM, and I'm sure sure we'll be having a meeting afterwards with the big wigs from corporate regarding how the service goes. So, who knows when we'll be done.:confused:

Either way, I'll do my best, and if I don't make it out, I hope you guys have a blast!!:thumbup:

There really seems to be a lack of people for this. I would hate for you to drive all the way up here and there only be 2-5 people. Just my thoughts, I would wait for another time. Maybe everyone is busy with stuff.
Or maybe you should try and schedule an event down there, bringing the SA people to you.

Finally got around to take some pics :smoking:
The 17" are an 8 of 10 as are the tires, Toyo Proxes 205 40 ZR17
One has a leak but will hold air for a couple of days and is missing a centercap

The 16" are a 6 of 10 and tires are an 8 Kumho Ecsta 205 50 ZR16, missing 2 center caps and in need of a good cleaning to bring back to car-meet condition :wink:

If you don't have the Stockers to trade I am willing to part with the 17" for $400 and the 16" for $200

Both will come with locking lug-nuts and keys :clap:

OK, warmer weather will be here in a few weeks (hopefully). I know it's been nice this weekend, but it's suppose to get colder next week.

I know it's last minute, but my son and I are going to the Castroville car meet tonight at the Womack Chevy dealership (1955 Hwy 90 E, on the right just before you come into town from SA).

It runs the second Friday of every month from 6-10pm, and we'll be taking Sprocket tonight so look for us!

OK guys, time to revive this meet! I've got a lot of trips lined up for work but usually they're only a week or two in length and I try to get home by Friday evening.

First, I think we need a roll call of who's still around...sound off if you're in San Antonio or the local area and are interested in participating in a YarisWorld meet.

As for location, I'm thinking Chunky's Burgers (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/39/430529/restaurant/West-Side/Chunkys-San-Antonio) over off of Callaghan Road (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?encType=1&where1=4602+Callaghan+Rd%2c+San+Antonio%2c+TX+7822 8&cp=29.472837~-98.602135&FORM=MIRE1). The parking lot isn't huge but they've got outdoor seating and some outstanding burgers!

Of course, anyone brave enough to try the 'Four Horseman Challenge' as made famous on Man vs Food is free to do so but you do have to make arrangements in advanced if I am not mistaken.

If anyone has any other suggestions, post 'em up. Let's make this happen! :headbang:
