I just located a wrecked 2008 Yaris and it has electic locks. I bought the driver door Power Lock Assembly for $50 and installed it today.

I have to say, this was a really easy install. I'm gonna buy the passenger door Assembly when I get paid at the end of the month.

Does the rear hatch also have a power lock assembly? I'll have to look later.

My 2009 LB with power locks does have the rear hatch power lock assembly, too.
I'd say get all the parts you can off that wrecked car. I assume you got the power
lock switches that go with it? I don't have a pic handy, but I think you
know what I am talking about. :iono:

Maybe that car has the keyless entry and you'd want to buy the parts for
that as well? Just a thought.

I bought the Yaris in January and installed a remote start in it a week or two later. It has keyless built in. The electric lock is hooked to it.

By the way, thanks for the info. It is sincerely appreciated. I'll get the rest of the parts soon. Hopefully it will still be there on the 25th.

Well I did not get the Passenger Power Door Lock Actuator. They sold the door (and other parts). Oh Well, just my luck.

Anyway, I need a Power Door Lock Actuator, if any one hears of one for sale let me know.

Thank you for your response

He doesnt answer member questions. I've tried a couple of times and never got a response. Not sure if I wanna deal with him. I'll find one, I just need to be patient.

Have you thought about trying Car-part.com?
They don't have the best search engine, but if you searched for
Door - Switch, it would come back with places that have the door switch.
Then if you contacted them, I would assume they might also have the
door lock actuator. Of course, I would try the cheapest listing first.

My left front door look does not open and close with the keyless entry. I can use the key and it opens the door and locks the rest of the car. I was wondering where you paid $50 for your door actuator. New they are over $300 in California.
Thanks
