If I was gonna get a different bumper, I would totally get the JDM RS. But that bumper is pretty nice. The black fog housing and the projector headlights go really well together.

^ Pretty much the reason why I didn't initially care for this when introduced on the '09s.

Hey Barber, I think you should do it! Love that front bumper (minus those weird things below the front headlights.)
Btw, loving your princess parking. lol jk

If you end up doing it, you should paint to match the black plastic near the fog lights, like 808_yaris did. Looks 100 x better.

Your headlights won't fit.
He knows that. Those pics are the actual bumper (blizzard pearl) installed and
photoshopped for colour match (red).
The point of the exercise was to:
- determine if any mounting points were different between '07 a '10
- and, to see exactly how bad the headlight situation is

lol, those are 07 headlights
only mod req'd is to shave the bumper at bit where its tight against the headlights above the bit of a gap.
ill be nabbing echo's bumpers in the near future at taking them for paint...

The gap isn't as bad as I would have thought it would be after seeing your pictures.
I would have bought that bumper in a second, especially since my car is Blizzard Pearl.
dude, leave it white and be baller:

simply too awesome! Did you buy the lip seperately? Do you know the part number? No dealers seem to not know the part number for the 09+ s lip kit

Wouldnt it be easier to just remove the front lip from that white bumper and install it onto your oem bumper

not sure the lip for the '10 will fit my 07...actually pretty sure it won't. and the '10 bumper has holes cut thru it (similar to an XRS bumper on the matrix) w/ clips to hold on the lip, so im better off using the stock '10 bumper in its entirety

ya, S = RS almost to a tee....except the badging, of course

Absolutely would not fit.
This is a very deep lip and incorporates the fog shrouds, and lower brill. Most lips are designed to wrap around existing bumper features like these, not lay overtop of them. There is also a slight vertical crease in the '10 bumper extending down from the inside corner of the headlights. This crease does not exist on the '06-'08 stock bumpers.

No it's the usdm front (same as pictured on page 1) part number for rear lip is the matching piece to the 09+ front..
Hey Barber...juss do it!!!!!
DeathBeard

Also I believe the bumper pictured on page 1 is different than the base 10+ front bumper as it has holes in where the spoiler mounts too

Would those projectors fit the fenders/hood/bolt-up the same way on a 09-10 Yaris like yours with the gap? I know that it works this way with your pictures, but is it the same the other way around?
WeeYari

^ the lights have 3 mounting points. On the 09-10, one of these mounting points is different. Can't remember which one. It has been done, but some custom fabrication is needed to address the misaligned 3rd bolt.
