Delayed Ipod Display

I have a new 2010 Yaris that has the ipod attachment. When I first got it, the text on the faceplate kept up as I turned the dial to browse through my music collection.

I've since updated my ipod touch with Apple's new update, and now when I plug it into my Yaris, the display is delayed as I turn the dial to browse. It's frustrating since I have ALOT of music. Anyone else run into this?

Is there a software or firmware upgrade I can install through the CD player/faceplate? Really hope someone can help!

If its the 4.0.1 update for your ipod then its the Ipods firmware thats slowing things down... if your daring enough then you can always try to go back to the previous firmware
I've been hearing from everyone I know thay they are super unhappy with their latest apple upgrade! hope it helps...
