No this is not spam.

I've got a unit for auction/for sale.
It is a Playstation 3 60GB USA/Canada version.
Comes with two games, and an extra controller.

It's ready to be shipped as soon as I receive cleared payment.

Yes, I put a deposit down a long time ago for the PS3.

After I heard the unit was only shipping in limited quantities and that it was no longer a simultaneous world wide release, I decided to auction it off.

Highest bid takes it

Ahhh good luck yah!

but from my experience on ebay the majority of people DONT want to go over the retail limit which is in ur case $911.56. They will just stop bidding after sum1 reaches 911.56.

BUT its a ps3 so im convinced that the bid will go up to 1200, from what ive seen in the american ebay bids for ps3.

GOOD LUCK! hope u make heaps of profit :)

The winning bid values have come down dramatically since launch on 11/17.

Simple enough, as there are more physical in-hand units available after it was released. A flurry of listings followed on eBay, and now the winning bid values/end prices have come down since there are more listings for bidders to choose from.

I had no idea bidders were willing to pay upwards of $2000-$3000 at launch.

Next time another hot console like this is released, I'm hiring some people to line up for me at the retail stores

I just got a Wii and two games (Zelda & Excitetruck) for girlfriend for Christmas, otherwise I'd probably try to get this. Good luck with the sale!

$600 + $60 +$60 + $50 = $770 X 7% = $53 + $770 = $823 plus auction fees equals probably more like $120 profit.

no, not worth it! probably could've sold the system by itself for the same price, and sold the games and controller separately. thats what i've found anyways, when i sell stuff like that.

dont think he got like $120 profit, the recipt says 910 he paid in total i think.

I think he only paid like $2 in ebay fees cuz he hotlink the pics. So yah!

Yes I agree guys, it was not exactly worth it in the end.

The total fees were $35 Canadian dollars.

The winning bidder lives in the greater Vancouver area and requested a local pickup. Bidder paid me in cash, and I was able to avoid the paypal fees.

Overall I made like a $100 profit

I do have another unit (a 60GB system) which I haven't opened, and I am debating whether to list it on eBay.

I might go ahead and list it and offer it to worldwide bidders, as there are many PS3 hungry people in the UK and Australia since it won't be released in those regions until March '07.

Did you report that guy who tried to send you to a spoof ebay site?

Yes I did report the message that was sent from that user.
I didn't receive any response from eBay however.

U can gamble your luck with uk and Aust i know some people who would acually pay around 1.5g for the console. Retail is 1000AUD here when it cums out.

Though its very handy to sell it to australia....lots of gamers down here..... :)
