View Full Version : Yaris gay and female friendly

All of the sudden I am not seeing many guys driving a Yaris.
Is the Yaris becoming female friendly as well as gay and transgender friendly?
Would John Wayne be seen in a Yaris? Well, right now John Wayne won't be seen anywhere except riding that big saddle in the sky.

why not? It's practical and efficient, and small enough to park anywhere

I see women driving mustangs? Does that mean it is a girls car? no, it is a car. Anyone can own it. Anyone can own a Yaris. Just because it is perceived that a certain group of people with a common interest happen to drive it doesn't mean that it is solely available to them...

Gay as in gay men friendly? I thought you said you weren't seeing any men driving them. Just a thought...

The same thing occurred to me. Besides, if the car is so attractive to women then I definitely want to drive it... It's a chick magnet:biggrin:. I definitely don't want to be driving a dude magnet.

Hey, I bet there are plenty of gay men who like vanilla ice cream.
Does that mean I should stop eating vanilla ice cream which happens to be one of my favorates?

I drive Yaris and a Celica. I couldn't care less about some kind of bogus gay list.

Hmmm - being Canadian I know very little about John Wayne - except that he had small feet - and he was very conscious about his small feet - so as long as he could sufficiently hide his feet in a Yaris - he'd drive one.

Yaris appears to be a very popular car in some South East Asian countries based on what I have seen in my travels to Malaysia. In the USA, I would think most Yaris owners are open minded and not haters.

The days "you are what you drive" kind of a thing, are pretty much over,
like most people I Got the Yaris for the economy and reliability,
F--K what other people think.
when gas goes 4$ Gal. and stays there and go up again, the Rednecks wont
laugh at your Yaris anymore, they wont like their Dum Tonka Toys anymore.

You mean "Marion Robert Morrison" ?

Marion first started out as contract actor as a romantic leading man. The problem was he couldn't act well enough.

Enter the PR guys. They changed his name to John Wayne, created an image and persona for a guy who couldn't act.

For the rest of his life, John wayne simply played the same part over and over and over.... to utilize his manufactured image. He was incapable of playing any other part

John Wayne literally killed himself by chain smoking and gorging on red meat.

I do think of the Yaris as a girlie car not that that's a bad thing. Usually when I see them on the road or at my school, it's driven by a young female and there are stuffed animals on the dashboard or back window lol! It's like the Beetle. I don't think most guys like these small cute cars.

I will keep mine until I graduate.. at which time I've been promised an upgrade..

I do like the ride and styling of the Yaris but it took awhile. It almost looks like half a car or 3/4 of a car because the rear end is flat. This however makes it much easier to fit into smaller parking spaces. For a small car it sure is roomy inside.

I was looking around a Toyota showroom on Saturday and was looking at the Prius which gets up to 51 mpg. No wonder it is priced $10,000 higher than a Yaris. If I had the money I might have invested in a Prius.

Trust me ... the Yaris being female friendly is a good thing. Who really wants to impress another man anyway, right?

Not that there's anything wrong with that ... and the Yaris has got you covered either way, just slap a rainbow sticker on it or whatever and you're good to go.

That pretty much covers everyone, except for men with small coc*s out there compensating with oversized SUVs and trucks. Can't please everyone though.

Yes you have. Clint Eastwood is another "actor" who can't act and plays the same manufactured part over and over.
In fact, early in his career, he got fired for being a bad actor.

The sad fact is, as long as people will spend money to see (or hear) you , talent isn't nessary to be famous and make money mo matter what the media might be.

It has been my experience that when most people use words like "socialist " or "communist" they have no idea what those words mean.

It's actually funny to asks a person who calls you a communists, socialist, etc, to define the term if they really know what it means and watch them stammer and squirm!

Just because something is not aggressive looking doesn't make it gay! This whole idea of something being gay just because it's not "macho" is retarded. There's a bunch of guys out there that are ultra-macho, and ultra homo. You would never picture them in a Yaris, but they're still hella gay. Anyone wanna party with these guys and their "ultra-macho" monster truck?

NO!

The only people that make negative comments abour my Yaris are the ones that haven't drove/rode/or experienced it's musical prowess... So, I just ignore anything they say about my baby. I have two redneck friends with big trucks, but if we go anywhere who ends up driving? I DO! why? Because I've got the boom and double their mpg's!!!!

there is nothing wrong with 3 dudes jammin out in a Yaris :drinking:

What a really horrible question. The car has nothing to do with sex or sexual preference. Its a car. People who are smart drive it for great gas mileage. To assume that only women or gays drive it is simply the mind of a bigot!

I am a semi straight man living in Calgary and the Yaris has changed my life. Even when I am not on the prowl, men seem to be drawn to me and my Yaris like a magnet. I hope some day that Vladimir Pootin see's me driving my bitchin' ride while he is hitch hiking. He can sit in the back and I can be his chauffeur. We will both be naked of course and in good time he will be in the front seat. Or he might be in my back seat. lol

I love the Yaris, I love Russia, I the the IL 76, I love Canada, I love Pootin but most of all I love to be dominated by bare chested Russian men.

Oh yeah, I feel like a real pussy at the gas pump, when some chump next to me is still fueling up his macho pickup and I've already filled up and driven off! I also have a small wimpy looking dog, but like the Yaris it is a badass also and I am secure in my gender identity and don't need a pitbull (great dogs though they are) or a jacked up pickup to make me feel like a dude. In fact I LIKE the fact the Yaris looks kinda girly, and I HAVE noticed women like it, like they also like my dog, they recognize a real man, and dog, and car I guess, when they see one. Yeah I'm kidding.... except the part about the dog.
