See they use synthetic gear oil for the 5 speed . It's a 75w-90 GL-4 from MOTORCRAFT ( Conoco Phillips ? ) . No wonder it shifts so smooth . They also suggest using BP gasoline in the owners manual :rolleyes: . Not surprized that oil companies and car makers go hand in hand . :drinking:
