Does anyone think that we will see the day that a 4-2 header is created so we can install a true dual exhaust? Just wondering; would there be enough room for the 2nd exhaust tubeing?

Is this even somthing that is done? excuss my ignor.

I would think that your 4-2 would still need to run into the cat.,but you can have a true duel exhaust with a 4-1,because you just need 2 pipes comin off the cat..And look how short the pipe is,you think you will get any better gains at low end with a 4-2 compared to a 4-1,this engine dosnt have enough displacment to make a diffrence, but it deffintly will help to open it up either way.

I have really Bad OCD... I love Symmetry... I would put True Duels even if it made me lose performance.

Ι am not at all sure about the result of it!

IMHO,
back pressure might be an issue. you might gain HP but loose out on TQ. the other thing is that the size of tube that you would have to run to = the flow rate of what's in there now would leave you without any choices for mufflers. also true dual exhaust should be left for engines with a Vee or boxer configuration.

think about all the added weight. F-bodys don't even have true duals and people make HUGE power with them.

have someone make you a long tube tri-Y header. That would be as good as it gets.
