Its just an ECHO

It pisses me off when people say that about my yaris. It has a same engine and center gauge cluster, then its an Echo

Sometime I want to punch some people. IMHO, I cannot stand the look of the ECHO. I think its tied to one of the most ugliest cars right next to the Aztec.

Gee, my buddy has an Echo, and it is pulling the same FE as my Yaris, and truthfully, I don't see enough of a difference to generate your kind of heat!

That Renault is FWD, handles like a hog on ice, and rusts if you put salt on your fries. Other than that, it is a fairly durable (but not fast), utilitarian vehicle designed and manufactured for a completely different market, and completely different driving style, somewhere between retarded and maniacal!

echo's, even sedan/coupes, are awesome

sure, the interior is boring, grey, and ugly

but its 2050lbs and can have the same power and suspension mods as the scion xa/xb1

Hey I had a Black ECHO and it was faster than my YARIS! It was a manual 1.3 litre and was lighter. Nothing wrong with the ECHO, but I would get peeved if my car was called something older.

I did drive it! :) The 4L , as it was called, was basically my first real driving experience. We took one out to Brittany (France) years ago, and I learned how to drive on that, on the country roads during a vacation break. Now I'm gonna have to find that pic and post it , hehehehe ... I think its around here somewhere.

I liked my old 2001 ECHO. White 2-door. I got rid of it in 2010 when it finally threw a cel and Toyota service wanted about $1500 to fix it with no guarantee that they wouldn't anything else wrong with it once the cel gets cleared away.

I am asked at LEAST a dozen times a month if my car is a hybrid. Perhaps it is because I am debadged and people are confused as hell what my car is since there an no other jade sea Yarii in my area plus mine is the only jade sea S model, not sure. It is a bit annoying, but I just nicely say, "no it is strait gasoline". As for if someone thinks they can get smart with me about my car I just tell them to sh1t in their hand and take a bite. :w00t:
