So, i was at a bookstore in Japan today...saw a car magazine. Read through the description in "Best Car" 8-26 issue magazine...
Seems to me, that this car red car on the cover is going to be similar to the FT-86...are production car~
The car has a 1.5 L engine...105~109 PS (whatever that converts to horsepower)

I'm going to buy the magazine tomorrow morning...too tired to go back to the store from the crazy heat here....
It was either 1.5 L or 1.6...i too was shocked when i saw that..
it's like a supercharged Yaris...
6000 RPM...
The rear end looks decent, not too crazy excited about it. At least, it looks near production level~

If Im translating right that website says it should have a 1.8~2.4L motor. Not a 1.6. That seems more reasonable.

sloth - it looks to be that way.
coheed - part 1 is talking about the FR car. Part 2 and 3, etc are different parts of the magazine. It was only one page on the car, with some info on the gazoo toyota aygo right above it..
i shall scan the magazine page for you guys after aug 17th...

Was at Kinokuniya in Tennoji, Osaka, JP
Saw a magazine titled Best Car in katakana letters...
And more theory on the FT-86 concept car...
They want to do a 4-Door version and a 2-door version....
Anyone think this is going towards the Corolla direction?
