Hello

I recently bought a used Yaris, 2002. It only came with 1 black key.
I understand this is a master key and I can use it program additional keys. However, im unable to find any keys online for my car.

If anyone know where I can order a correct replacement key, please let me know. The toyota dealers here want 280 euro for a new key (with remote)

My car info (from the .no registery)

Car: TOYOTA YARIS P1F
Chassis number: VNKKV12390A128438
Year: 2002

Perhaps anyone know of a auto locksmith that will ship precut keys to Norway (I know how to program it myself)

Any help is great appreaciated!

Maybe try ebay i got a switchblade key with remote for 30 bucks shipped and programmed it myself. Saved myself atleast a hundred dollars. Not sure what that equates to in euros but i know they do ship all around the world.

I'm in need of a new fob, too. I was shocked at the price for a replacement key from the dealer. It would have made more sense for me to get an alarm at the price they were charging. But, for now, I might look into just getting a new key fob from ebay, but I don't know how to reprogram it. How do you go about it?

Thanks for the guide. Since the transponder in my key still actually works, I ended just getting an empty shell from ebay. But, if that does not work, then that guide will come in handy.
