hey guys , I need to ask a question ...

If you sit next to the front wheel while the car is on the ground , and you pull up and down on your side shaft , is there a little bit of play on them , just about 2 mm or so ? very little , same on both sides.

The reason I ask is I had 2 quick drag races this week , I don’t usually , but I was just wondering how strong the sideshaft and CV joint setup it , as I don’t want to brake anything , I usually do a rolling start but had 2 starts where I had wheelspin from the start , so just wanted to make sure the car would be ok ?

You're fine :)
I'm burning rubber from time to time just for the fun of it and beating the hell out of this little car almost every single day. It's working perfectly for the last 2,5 years and pulls as hard as it has in the beginning ;)

hey buddy , thanks for the reply !

ah ok cool , thats a relief , i would think that when toyota designed the car that it would be able to take a certain amount of abuse being that the engine is bigger.

i must say out of all the super compacts on the market , the Yaris is the quickest. i raced a swift sport , and on paper the car is faster , but i lauched him twice and killed him , yaris has alot more torque.
