This might be the norm for a lot of cars, but this is the first car I have ever driven that has this small but nice feature.
Everyone knows that when a car is cold it takes a few extra cranks to get it going. This morning I twisted the key, and when I let go it kept cranking until it started. Its a small but useful feature that makes me enjoy that car just a bit more.

Mine did that this morning as well... I think it was about 8 degrees this morning near chicago.

this was part of an extensive thread some time ago, thats when I figured it out....
now if I could convince the wife she doesnt need to crank the key and pump the gas on her fuel injected car we'd be all set.

Pumping the pedal became even more useless with drive by wire.
My first car ever was a 83 Buick Electra. Pump the gas 3 times and the car would fire right up. There where winters where most people cars would not even crank in the morning. The Buick was dead reliable.

We had a brick 84 buick skylark and that car was awsome - long trips, camping out on logging roads etc. same thing totally reliable and bullet proof.
not the pretiest car in the world.
