I put pieces of scotch tape on the inside of all the clips that hold interior parts/panels together. That really cut down on the rattles. There's like dozens upon dozens of them, and they just go bad every once in a while, and you can tap them and hear them resonating. So I just taped every one of them.

Road noise was driving me crazy to the point that at highway speeds I was having a problem trying to listen to my 3 years son in the back seat.

That's way I've been deadening all my car, so far 90% completed my ride feels so different than day 1, it's like a little Lexus now.

This is the THREAD (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26150) if you like to read...

most of them are in that threat, what are you looking for?

I am looking mostly for deadening the dashboard ;)

There is very little you can do with the dashboard but with good results...

What's the problem, it rattles too much or what?

You can start with a DashMat, this helps to reduce the road noise and rain.

Felt stick ons that are used to keep objects from scratching table tops work well. Sometimes chunks of soft sponge work well. I'm beginning to think these vibrations are a safety feature designed to annoy the driver enough so that falling asleep while driving is nearly eliminated.
