Thats cool stuff, it would be cool to use in areas near the beach, I would use it for that reason, every week I put my car on horses to clean underneath the car to take out sand etc, what is the product called and how long did it take?

This is a great idea, especially for people who have to deal with salted roads.
Would doing this void the warranty?
Is there any ways I could rent a lift to do this? I know there is an auto hobby shop at the Great Lakes Naval Station close to where I live, but being a civilian could I get access/how would I do so?

Do you know any soldiers stationed there? That would be the only way to rent the lift.

I miss the Army so much looking back. Should have stayed in. lol I remember doing an entire turbo install (well, I mostly watched since I am not very mechanically inclined) in Germany to an Audi. It was a blast!

You should have no issues if he brings you on base. But then again, my time serving and experience is pre-war so rules are much more strict these days.

It will work well until sometime in the future when all that rubbery stuff dries out then salty water from winter usage will invade that car with a vengeance,The rubberized product tends to peel away from the metal over time and trap water between the undercoat and the metal . I am not a fan of these products as once they crack or get cut water can get trapped in various areas and the rusting begins.also if you have to do any work on the car where this stuff was applied it makes for a hell of a mess.
Since you've already applied the stuff to prevent the drying out you may want to keep reapplying every 2nd or 3rd year for as long as you own the car,and if you sell the car privately let the new owner know what you've done..
A yearly oil spray by a professional is what i use.

Well, i am not learning and never heard of an oil spray. I have heard of different types of undercoatings though.

The oil spray makes it tough to clean the car, and it smells like someone spilled a can of WD40 in your car. But apparently it helps prevent rust.
