hey guys...i am doing my project here....so here i am, bought some parts from pepboys to build my own intake....originally it was suppose to be for my 03 toyota corolla....but decide that i got some left over parts and making my own short ram intake for my H/B yaris....so any suggestions at all? i did some research as well and notice that the intake do have a mounting support...do i need one for a short ram intake? just give me any suggestion so i could get the best performance for my own built intake thanks

Short ram is fine without supports, just make sure you use good quality silicone hose for the connector to the TB. The best thing to keep in mind is the tube diameter. The MAF is very particular and dosen't much like deviating from 2.25" I.D.
