Started up the car yesterday and noticed that the orange Maintenance started showing up in the dash. It stays on for a minute or two then disappears. My car just breached the 9000 mile mark.
Now the newest car I owned before this one was a 2001 Corolla and needless to say the electronics weren't as sophisticated as the ones in this car, but whenever I see that light in other vehicles it leaves me feeling a tad worried.
I figured I'd check here to see if anyone had an idea for what's going before calling the dealer.

EDIT: Seems like it's likely due to it wanting an oil change. I've only driven older used cars in the past, never seen the maintenance required light come on before because it wanted an oil change.
