Key Fob no longer Unlocking Boot

Hi all, I have a 2000 Yaris Sol. The Key Fob no longer locks the boot.

So in summary the key fob locks and unlocks all the doors, and locks the boot... it just wont unlock the boot.

Any ideas?

If you unlock all of the doors with the door switch, does the boot unlock as well, or do you have to use the key to get it to unlock?

Key Fob unlocks all the doors.
I have to use key to unlock boot.
But Key Fob will lock boot as well as all doors

Apologies for the delay in getting back...

To answer CTScott's question.. No, the door switch does not unlock the boot anymore. It does however still lock it.

In that case the problem is either with the hatch lock assembly or is wiring related. I would start by removing the plastic hatch trim to inspect the lock assembly and its wiring. The same two outputs of the "door control relay assembly" go to all of the doors and the hatch, so it definitely isn't a problem with the relay assembly.
