I'm gonna put a Pioneer FH P8000BT in my Yaris next week end. I want to hook up the Yaris aux plug to the Pioneer.

Can someone tell me which wire (colors) is right audio, left audio and common.

I'll probably never use it but its there, I might as well hook it up.

OK I guess on one has ever done it.

The 20 pin plug on the back of the factory radio, position 15, 16 and 17 are the wires that are needed. Position 15 is a red wire which is the right side audio, Position 16 is a black wire which is the common and Position 17 is a white wire which is the left side audio.

Solder these wires to an 1/8-inch stereo plug, plug it in to the back of the FH P8000BT and we can now use the factory AUX plug with the Pioneer

I believe that there are threads in regards to this. I personally left mine alone and just used and routed the aux that came with my Eclipse CD3200. You never know...if you decide to sell the car and leaving that part stock is easier in the long run IMHO. Take it as what it is...just an opinion. Best of luck with your choice.

The factory plug was not damaged. I simply stripped the wires back and soldered new wires to it. The factory radio can be put back in in just a few minutes.

Also those threads list different color wires than those that I posted and it does not tell me which wires were left right or common
