What I didn't see on the info page (I hope I'm blind) was what this show entails as far as entry classes. I get it that we have to pay to play, but what am I entering for?

Personally I have a little sound system that is almost finished. If I can get this as motivation to come up and show the car, I'll do so. What I don't see in the info is the information I need to make a decision on whether to be involved (entry classes and the like).

I'm talking with the shop owner about finishing the car to make that show. That will depend on if there are specific entry classes that I might be able to fit the Yaris in. I know I don't have any video screens (nor do I want any), but I can guarantee that this car will sound spectacular...good enough for an IASCA championship run at SBN...

Care to shed some light?

Sure. This is not your typical car show. We do trophies by car model and how specific that gets (i.e. Generations, year, ect) depends on preregistrations. Also only a select few trophies are judged by a panel, you are mostly being judged by your peers, so showman ship could win it if done well enough. We find this eliminates anger towards our club about who won since it's up to you to attract attention to your car and it's mods. Now we will step in if we feel there is some sort of favoritism being had (like a stock corolla winning over a very clean well modded corolla). But that has not been an issue in the past so we haven't had to over rule any winner so far.

I hope this clears everything up and there will be a list of categories posted within the next week.

Still, this is for the kids!

Anyone else from the forums showing?

Hey Astro, I'm thinking of letting one of the guys from the shop take my car up to Tacoma to show the system off. I've got to work that day. Would you make sure to stop by and take a listen?

PSTOC.org

Well this is it. The final bump. I know you'll all miss me slightly :)

If you are registered or are going to register day of please wait for an attendant to show you where to park then proceed inside to the Griot's Store to pick up your registration and voting pamphlet. If you do not have a registration paper in your front window you will be asked to park elsewhere or be at risk of being towed as the show area is strictly for cars entered in the show. There will be some parking in front of the Griot's store and on the side street. If you are to be parked on the concours (grass area) there are some special parking instructions you'll need to follow.

So whats new you ask? Well we are allowing you to bring extra parts and what not you'd like to sell swap meet style! You must keep it to a dull roar and it has to fit within your parking spot behind your car. But this is your chance to swap stuff with guys from all over the country and it's included in your registration :)

Also we will once again be having food prepared by our lovely chef Gabi. It's FREE but we will be asking for a small donation to go towards toys for tots!

Also there will be vendors selling stuff on site so be sure to bring extra cash to pick up your PSTOF 10' shirt or one of the many other things offered by our excellent sponsors and vendors.

And fair warning please do not burn out, speed, or damage property as there will be Tacoma Police patrolling the area and you will also not be allowed back to any PSTOC events as we do not appreciate negative attention that is brought to our community by incidents such as these. Thank you!

And as always remember to get those preregistrations in so we can make parking as smooth as possible.

Well damn, lol. Guess I can throw my trophy dreams out the window  That's the 2nd most badass Yaris out there. Don't let me down alright? I've been to two shows, gotten two trophies. Hoping the streak continues

Damn! Again! Well...for the second time...count my Yaris out. The guy from the shop that was going to show mine isn't available for Sunday. I'm working so...No ICE trophy or Yaris trophy for me. I just put the glove box and back seat back in. It looks like a normal Yaris...except for the A-pillars, custom painted panels, the mid bass in the kicks, and the trunk sexiness.

Best ICE went to an xB that I promise you had a very very high quality set up. Sorry you weren't there to compete this year.

My everything is sore after yesterday. But as long as people had a good time and we helped ALOT of kids today it's all worth it. I had no time to play camera jockey but I hope there's alot. I still boo that I lost to a stock SC lol. There maybe that will fill our gripe quota for the year :)

Thank you everyone! And special thanks goes out to all the board member's and volunteers that made this show possible. We do not personally profit from anything we do here on PSTOC so just remember we are here to help share our love of toyota products and meet new friends. So please help us spread the word and we hope a lot of you guys that signed up on pstoc.org will stick around too as your not just a screen name on PSTOC unlike on some of the other boards, your our friends or soon to be friends!

Ok now I feel corny and all but thats the only way I could say it right.

More pics here!

Will start a new thread with pictures of the show. I had a TON of fun although Dan came in stealing the trophy for Yaris thanks to the killer paint. I felt from this show the Yaris is starting to show as a pretty real contender and has excellent mod capabilities that most people weren't aware of. I had a few people talk to me who also had a yaris for a fuel efficient vehicle and passed some cards out for the site here. I'll be attending many more PSTOC events for sure!

Pics of that Xb that won best ICE?

Were there only two Yarii there? I notices Astro's and a sweet looking sedan...

I'll be in Nashville on the 15th for MECA finals.

...High quality system you say...

I'm intrigued and feel challenged at the same time

Two officially, there was a bayou blue liftback but they were there to look, not enter. I'm not sure what xB it was that won. Although I wouldn't have one I wish I had done the pop off contest, I know I could have swung a few votes my way with that. I'm working on the pics I took right now. I ended up with over 110.

What was the pop off contest?

Rev your engine, see who's loudest (intake or exhaust). A suzuki won, but also got unwanted attention from the surrounding area so they won't be doing that again.

Tyler - would have been great to see you there, it was a really fun event. Keep your eye on the Northwest section as I will be posting more events.
