What Colour Window Tints Should I Get

I am looking to buy the rear windows and boot window tints from ebay:

But dont know what colour to buy, my choices are:

Ultra Light Smoke - 50% Light Transmisson (Lightest colour available)

Light Smoke - 35% Light Transmission
*
Dark Smoke - 20% Light Transmisson (Colour most car manufactures use as a factory option)
*
Limo Black - 7% Light Transmission (Darkest Colour Available)
*
Reflective Silver - 7% Light Transmission


I am leening towads either light or dark smoke.

Yup- light or dark smoke depending on your own preference.

Ultra light is useless, limo black is not too practical during dark months, reflective is just plain wrong with any other colour of car than silver.

I usually go with the 20% tint. There are very few cars that look good with all limo tint. Also depends on if you are tinting all the windows. Another option you could go is 7 percent in the back 20 percent on the sides and 50 percent on the fronts. So its blended evenly. Keep in mind how many windows you tint will effect how dark the other windows look. I went with a 20 percent on the rear windows and back and 50 percent on the front on my car and really wish i went darker on the rear window because it looks like i really have no tint in the front at all and the back is hardly noticeable.

If i replace just the rear glass with a darker tint all the remaining windows will become darker because of the less total light entering the cabin.

I have a limo tint (5%) on the back 3 and ultra light (50%) on the the front 2. At times, the limo tint is too dark, aka reversing at night, but overall I'm very pleased with the look. The 50% looks more like a 20% due to the 5% tint and the fact that my car is black.

To be honest, a 20% all around is my personal favourite. Though I couldn't do it because of the laws in BC.

i'd go with a 35% nichrom or mirror coated. mirror coat will keep out sun and heat while you can still see out of it at night...plus with the mirror, noone can see in unless they cupping they hands on ur glass...and that'd just piss me off to see someone doing that to my car.

Thanks for help guys have gone with majority and ordered dark smoke, only ordered the back 3 windows as laws on window tints are quite strict here in the UK! Will put some pics up whens its done
