So, for all you EU guys- Toyota is re-entering the small MPV market. If anyone remembers the Yaris Verso / Fun Cargo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Yaris_Verso), this is the same niche they'll be filling with the upcoming Verso-S. The new car will be immensely more pleasing to the eye, Toyota's version of the Honda Jazz/Fit. It is essentially a new version of the JDM Ractis (http://toyota.jp/ractis/index.html?padid=ag001_from_top_carlist) (photos (http://toyota.jp/ractis/exterior/garally/index.html)) subcompact MPV.

It remains to be seen, but I'll bet that we'll see many of the Verso-S's details on the upcoming new Yaris.

For two pics and a short press notice, head over to Autoblog (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/31/paris-preview-toyota-verso-s-gets-an-iq-inspired-makeover/).

Looks like a mixture of a Versa and a Fit.

Love the gear shifter placement. Why is the gauge cluster always through the steering wheel? Make it the yaris' height and you can keep it on the right still.
