Hi members,
I am new to this forum, but to let you know I have just fitted a Autostrada Cruise control kit to my manual 2008 Yaris.
2 hours start to finish, and it works really well.
The folks at Autostrada were great and the only difficult part was the brake switch, and that was not too hard just a bit of metering required.
Installation by and auto electrician would be another option.

Out of curiosity, what is the cost for the Autostrada kit for the 2nd generation Yaris?

My '07 Yaris sedan had cruise control fitted by the dealer before delivery. My Dad had bought the car, and I inherited it when he passed away in '08. I just found his original quote when buying the car. This will surprize you but my Dad had paid $AU813.64 for a no name cruise that does not really work well.
Total cost for the auto sedan with towbar, trailer wiring and cruise was $20994.01.
As a slight off topic the car was damaged in a big hail storm in Brisbane, Qld in late November. I had paid for undercover parking at the Brisbane Airport while we were overseas. Obviously it was not kept undercover. It is going in for repair this Thursday. It was fully insured. Cost is $3,500 but I have to pay the first $525 as excess.
