Currently ordering 16" Rota Torques, just wondering which brand of tyres best to wrap them up.

I was considering either

Bridgestone Turanza ER300 - $189 fitted ea or
Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001 also $189 fitted

I am open to any suggestion

Thanks:smile:

Either the Bridgestone Adrenaline or Yokohama A Drive R1. What size tyre are you thinking. I have 205-45-16 and the Bridgstone were going to cost me $249 the Yokohama's cost me $205

Im going with 205/50/16 size tires as there are no plans to drop it anytime soon. And those prices i quoted are both for the same size

205/50/16's work very well with stock suspension AND a mild to moderate drop. Choose a wheel with an offset of +42mm or greater for best fitment.

I have been told that the RE001 is great in the dry, however it is slightly lacking in the wet. Haven't heard of anything regarding the ER300 though..

Best bet is to read some tyre reviews.. or better yet, take a drive in someone's cars who run these tyres.

From looking at the Bridgestone website,

RE001 is a Premium Performance tyre, while the ER300 is a Premium Touring tyre.. your call buddy! =P

Longer lasting tyre, or superior grip!

My mechanic friend told me that more expensive tires usually dont last as long as cheaper tires. I suppose i am going for longer lasting tyres rather than grip/performance.

Thanks all
