Very simple way of keeping your aux jack functional.
This was done on an 09 Yaris 3DR HB.

All you do is remove the 20 pin connector, pop up the pin holder in the middle of the connector(it just needs to be pushed up a little, do not try to remove it!!). Using a small paper clip, push out the gray pin, move it to the left of the red wire.
DONE.
MY next installment will be the scion Ipod control with factory parts. Very expensive, but super clean install.
