:w00t:Good Job!! Very clean install. Question - the e-manage that came with the supercharger hooked right up with the o.e harness or did you hardwire it? Did you take pictures of the hook-up?
Thanks a whole lot!!!

Nah, that's just a ricy extra bolted on for it's looks and sound
"Go" is when it actually gets "used" for what it was built for .

I'm itching to get out there too! I'm pumped to see how the 6 speed is on the track.
Edit: oh yeah, are you coming to the C7 car tour this weekend too?

I think you'll pick up time with it. Lots of shifting 2-3 and 3-2. I think on the two semi-straights i'll be shifting into 3rd early rather than revving out 2nd...but we'll see what works better. Should be a fun day.
Hmm...forgot about the C7. Who's going? I had mentioned to some buds about going biking that day but no plans 100%

How can I get a hold of (purchase) the rear disc brakes (and all of its components) you have on your Echo? Is it a conversion kit or from an Asian RS or European TS? :iono:
Thanks for any info you can provide...:help:

find something for a scion xb (first gen) and ship it up from the US

Scions didn't have them in the US. You have to look in the JDM.

i just meant that if you look for aftermarket rear disc brake conversions, you could get one for an xb1/xa

Ohhhhh.
Because both of our rear brakes are from JDM spec cars, not conversions.

Exactly what Bluevitz said, my kit is from Japan from a Vitz RS. It came with everything required (Rotors, pads, calipers, flex hoses, e-brake assembly/cables, wheel bearings, bolts) Shipping is expensive...but I think it was worth it
I found mine through rpmgarage, but it's rare to see it on there. Import monster or another site that deals with JDM parts would be your best bet

Thanks
I'll probably use my 17's one more year (I think that will be the end of my RA-1's) and either use these as summers and find another winter set of 15's OR just change tires on these rims each season (unlikely)

Are you down here much in the summer? There's not really meets around here anymore, well, echo meets anyways. Track days sometimes have a good turn out though

UPDATE - Installed an xb transmission, ACT HD pressure plate with SS Clutch disc and a Fidanza Flywheel on my car. Also put in an agency power braided clutch line, and front and rear braided flex hoses. Bled the whole system with wilwood 570 fluid. Will add some pics later. Will be getting the car tuned this week too (hopefully) with some numbers for you guys

LOL Yeaaahhhh...I don't sleep much. Happy with them so far, fit in there great. I just bought two front sets and used them front and back (agency power). Pedal is nice and firm. Getting used to the clutch/flywheel too. I stalled twice trying to leave the parking lot after I installed it all
It's like a new car with different gearing though, i'm uber happy with it.
I really hope I can get the 1ZZ t.b in before I get the tune, but not sure. Might just punch out early tomorrow and do it up!

yeah, I remember when I first put in the celica clutch it was literally an on off switch for about 100km. LOL, leave rubber or stall.
I'll have to see how those brake lines hold up and maybe get a set if I find a good job for the summer.

Yeah, it's getting better, but still choppy. Engine RPM's drop off so fast with the fidanza too, didn't think it would make such a difference! :w00t:
