Clarion NZ500 Single Din install help

so i had this beauty in my jeep....

i sold my jeep and was able to keep the head unit! anyways, my friend wants to buy this off me and put it in his 2007 yaris hatchback. im pretty good when it comes to installing stereos but this time its not my car so i dont wanna eff anything up. could someone give me some pointers on the actual install itself. also what website is the best to buy the single din kit? i wanna know the nitty gritty of the yaris tech world!

Shows the trim removal step by step. There's tons of tutorials you look up-- both on this forum and on google.

You'll need two things.
A metro dash kit. And a wire harness. I bought mine off eBay

im alittle confused with what the wiring harness is, in my jeep i just had 2 left and right cables going back to my voice amp and my bass amp. so i dont think ive dabbled with a wiring harness before, what does it do?

Yes sir, those will do just fine.

Wiring harness - > Just splice and match the wires from the deck to the harness.

When you go to install your new deck, all you have to do is remove the trim, unplug the stock radio harness-- Then hook your brand new harness in! Plug and play baby.
