Knob or shaft? Guessing the shaft, as your most likely looking to replace the knob...
"The shaft is 8mm." Found by SEARCHING.

Tough guy, read the posts again... incase he was meaning to ask for the shaft (inside) dimensions, rather then the outside knob dimension, thats what i gave him... Why should he ask twice? That was sooo wrong of me? Kiss off pal, we can give a crap about your payments, pending strike, blah, blah.. your just trying to save face by your long winded reply.
Try posting useful information from the jump (read your reply to him) and stop trying to be such an internet badass.

No need for orders. I'll opt out. It's all yours. You appear to need it. I'm sure you'll mellow as you age or perhaps drugs will help. Enjoy your world...

I believe the shaft diameter on the manual is 12mm. It's 8mm for the automatic... if that's what you were asking.

I concur, still curious as to what use KSI may have had for the outer diameter of the knob though if this is not what he was refering to.

Yes, I learned this the hard way when I tried to install a well travelled OBX shift knob with an 8mm insert (oh my buddha mm - is this the USSR) and a base ring meant for the automatic stick shaft.
