Excuse this being somewhat political, but those of you who are in NSW, you may be interested to see the new laws the government is trying to bring in regarding the limitations on suspension modifications on cars.
Here is the link I was sent in the email:
Andrew Stoner (http://www.andrewstoner.com.au/images/stories/pdf/New_VSI-50_Doc.pdf)
Andrew is campaigning strongly that drivers of modified cars are not hoons (http://www.nothoons.com.au/), and being from the country there are a lot of circumstances where people around here need to be able to increase/drop the suspension of the vehicles above/below 15cm and still be able to use them on-road.
Their main argument is that increasing suspension on a car increases its its centre of gravity and thus its ability to roll (we all know that).. And that lowering suspension increases the ability to bottom-out or scrape. But they aren't considering the benefits of lowering suspension besides for aesthetic purposes.
Anyway, if you're interested feel free to sign the petitions or send him an email - They are looking for opinion on suspension modifications to be used in argument against the proposed limitations.
