Reset EMS?????

I'm just wondering if their is a way so that I can reset the cars computer without going to a dealer?

the best way is to get a scan tool and delete codes.

second and worst idea out of all of them but probably the cheapest and easiest...disconnect negative terminal from battery and apply it to the pos cable for about ten minutes. go back and plug her up. this will delete all driving history and you'll get really crappy mileage for about 500-1k miles. but, if you're havin weird hard to chase problems, this will likely fix it if it's module related and not end product related like a regulator or whatnot.

Well the last service i did on my own. the cars cold start is a bit funny. it sounds like when you start the motor the motor doesn't start up as it should and then the starter motor does not disengage fast enough. so i don''t have the tools to reset the ems after it has been serviced.
any advice?

hmm... Because you are in South Africa there may be a difference in terms, what does EMS stand for in your part of the woods? You don't mean the maintenance?
