Hi, When ever I make a hard left or right turn from a stop, the car has a harsh wobble shudder that seems to be getting worse over the last few years. I have the TRD sway bar but thats the only suspension mod on the car. Any thoughts as to how to eliminate or reduce this annoyance?

your car is manual trans, or auto?

if manual, sounds like clutch shudder... exacerbated by steering input... when i had my echo, it happened ocassionally...

it auto, i have no suggestion...

but will need more info...

year, trans, miles, etc.

My car has automatic. The shudder is in the entire car. I believe it is suspension related. Feels like it.

well, i am honestly unsure... i would need to look at car in person to go farther... where are you in the country? however, it might behoove you to take this in to the dealer and ask them/ show them what you are talking about...

I took it to the dealership and drove it with the service manager sitting in the passenger seat and could not produce the wobble. I went ahead and had them inspect the car and alignment. Everything was normal. The wobble will occur again like the occasional huge rattle deep beneath the dash board. Imperfections I can live with in an over all splendid entry level ultra low emission vehicle.

okay, put a notebook in the glove box, with a pen, and the next time it happens, write down exactly how it happened... weather, time of day, distance from cold start, street names, etc.

then you can take all that information in to the dealer, and then they can have a much better chance at a) recreating the issue, and b)determining the exact problem
