alarm siren? mine was just a piezo buzzer.. when the alarm sets off, it's the horn that honks

the piezo buzzer beeped once for door lock and twice for door unlock. was attached near the battery. way to go toyota OEM stuffs!

too bad it isn't available for the yaris ;(

Yes there is a lot of room for a siren under the stock air box. It's a good place because it hides the siren and makes it hard for a thief to cut the wire.

It also offers an open path to the ground and there is an empty threaded factory bolt thing that you can use to mount it.

I ended up mounting it to the passenger side strut tower. There is an unused bracket with a threaded hole. Its tucked under the cowl so you don't even see it when your standing in front of the open hood.
