Hi all,
I've been reading much on the forums this last week trying to get myself more informed about my Yaris and what can be done with it. I've noticed in pictures of some interiors that some people have a tachometer right in the speedometer pod. (see shamefully stolen picture bellow)

I'm not quite sure if its because when I ordered my Yaris I asked for zero options installed except for cruise control but all I have in my pod is a speedometer, gas gauge, and clock.

Is there a way to get a replacement pod for mine that has a tach built in? I have a manual transmission and would love to have a tach.

(not a picture of my car but of toy_toronto's, shamelessly stolen stolen from the head unit thread:respekt:)

I have an automatic, but I always thought sticks always had a tach. Hmmm. I never had one that didn't. Oh well. I know this doesn't help at all, but I was just wondering aloud. :)

^ The Yaris liftback didn't get a tach until 2008. Maybe even '09? My '07 doesn't have one.

Anyway, yes it is possible to swap a different cluster in, there is DIY on here somewhere. Remember though, that the mileage is stored on the cluster, so your odometer reading will become whatever it is on the new cluster.
