I'm a big boy.... ok... I'm a very big boy. am 6'4 and pushing 375 lbs. And no, its not all muscle lol. I can probably only account for about 35% of my weight to muscle. The rest is MEAT

Anyway, I was wondering if there were any other larger Yaris owner's out there who don't mind speaking up. I'm not looking for a number. I just want to hear what ya'll think of the car so far. I plan to lower it soon, so if you have any thoughts on that subject please tell.

I have owned my Yaris since April last year and I love every second of it

Let me know your thoughts, anyone is free to comment of course.

Just lower the passenger side.. That way the car will be level when you get on it.

Juuuuust kidding. I think you should lower it regardless. It just looks and handles so much better.

That struck me too... 375lbs would do its part to lower a Yaris, alright! No offense meant...

I'm 6'3" and 290. I need to check a reflection sometime to see if the car visibly squats much when I plop my fat ass into it. lol! No wonder I'm scared to lower!

Honestly, the car doesn't really squat that bad. That's one of my pet peeves. Don't worry about offending me lol. If I was sensitive about it I wouldn't have said something on the intertube :P

I am 290 and my son is about 350, so when we are both in the car, there is a noticeable sort of...lag, you know? lol!

I'm 6'2 - 240 lbs (but I'm on a diet) - my Yaris is fine - it doesn't buckle when I sit down

6'0 250 lbs. Down from 280. My car deffinatly squats when I get in. I have df210's and have noticed my driver side strut and shock are giving out first. But these are the stock ones on lowering springs, so it exaggerate's the stress on them.

Yeah, I'm getting DFs this weekend. Im banking on sag. So I have some spring stifeners on hand to help combat this future problem. So some tok blues are recommended in my near future eh? I'm excited lol. What's the worse that's gonna happen? Lol I have to take the new springs off due to rubbing. Oh noes. Gotta look at the bright side. Everything to gain, nothing to lose.

Why is it we large dudes like little cars? To be honest though, there is more head/leg room in my Yaris than in the Avalon we had before. I was amazed.

 Well, since I'm female I won't be tellin' my weight, but I'm 5'4" and I see no difference in the lowering of the car when I get in. And I haven't noticed the car being any lower when I've had 3 passengers riding with me.

What I *do* notice is the loss of power when there are passengers in my car. It's almost like it doesn't want to move, but when it's just me, it's a wonder I haven't got a speeding ticket yet.

Well Debby, the key is to have lots of friends riding around with you all the time! to avoid tickets, that is... I would say lotsa passengers would hurt the gas mileage though.

My springs arent sagging and I've put over 40k miles on em. But my stock shocks/struts are going out. Definitely get some blues, if not reds. Should've got some when I got my springs, I feel like it'd be a lil pointless now. I feel I need to go full coilovers. Springs and shocks dont have any tunability, and I need it at this point. Want to go 2inches lower and that aint happening unless I cut the spring and I dont wanna do that.

Eating doesn't help; West Coasters have problems gaining weight, must be all the rain. I'm 5'10", didn't get over 175 until I came to the Interior from the Wet Coast, got as high as 196. Good living, great food.

exercise is overrated. I'm 6'2" and around 320. I've been on diets most of my life, I became a lifetime member of weight watchers at age 11 i think.

I always liked what the philosopher Happy Bunny had to say about it: "Eat right, exercise, die anyway!"
